Elizabeth Lang Miers has served as a Justice on the Court of Appeals for the Fifth District of Texas at Dallas since 2003. She began her legal career as law clerk to the Honorable James A. Finch, Jr. of the Supreme Court of Missouri. She previously practiced for 28 years with and was a partner in the predecessor firms to Locke Lord, LLP. She has been a member of the State Bar of Texas since 1977 and a member of the Missouri Bar Association since 1975. She currently serves as a member of the Multi District Litigation Panel for the State of Texas.
